CFRB 1010 in Toronto was ranked as the most listened to radio station in Canada in the early 1990s, and I was a part of it.
Okay, so I was only the weekend overnight news anchor and my ratings were probably low, but still it was a turning point in my career. CFRB was the first number one rated station I had ever worked at. It paid well. But most importantly the news mattered.
I felt so privileged to be surrounded by an amazing group of journalists.
