Physician-Assisted Dying will become a reality in Canada in 2016. This episode deals with a town hall meeting that I attended in Toronto in January of 2016. Ontario’s Ministry of Health wanted input from the community at large on this controversial issue. Ontarians had the opportunity to either participate through an online survey or at one of nine town hall meetings across the province.
If you are interested in additional information on this issue, you will find the recommendations made by the Canadian Advisory Committee. You may also be interested in the Dying with Dignity Act from Oregon.
